Help finding a BS
.... post your window sticker
Not trying to give you a hard time, but I thought unless it's on the window sticker, it's not a factory installed option? I'll take your word for it if you say it's
on your sticker, no need to post it.
Don't remember if I posted a pic in my auction or not, think I did. It was the one and only factory installed option and mine does not have it.
There is however one difference between some of our cars though it was never an option. Some cars have TPMS and some do not. Mine does not TPMS either and I'm kinda glad about that one......
Back from dinner, here is my window sticker:

It's the right colour for me and has low miles. Carfax looks clean even with 4 owners reported.
Car appears to have the badge taken off the trunk for some reason, but otherwise looks to be in good condition from the pictures.
Any help/advice apppreciated.

If Chicago paid the guy 80 for it and he bought at sticker, it was $27.50 per mile!
I'm jealous, wish I could take a hit like that and not have it eat at me!

bishman...congratulations on the clk63, it's gone to a better home than the original owners which is a rare thing but 1900miles in 3 years is such a waste...enjoy

Just took a quick blast up to KC and back to get 'Clearplex' on the windshield. This car is awesome. Very solid, and frankly the best sounding exhaust EVER!! lol More thoughts later.

Seen a few in the usual places (cars dot com, ...) though I'm kinda surprised at the number of vehicles with 2 and 3 owners during such a short time span. Am I perhaps being over-cautious about that?
There's a single-owner BS (black) with 11K miles in Anaheim: it's a local car but looking at the carfax makes me wonder about its history: has replaced airbag, injector, rear-axle, repair to wiring harness, etc. Any perspective on that vehicle, or advice about how to identify 'good' from 'bad' in general?
There's also a handful in Florida and Texas, though I understand those states don't require salvaged-vehicles to be declared as such ...
Appreciate any guidance

If the Anaheim car has really had that much work it would be easy to get a dealer to chek the VIN...I find it hard to believe that it's had that many issues though...

The amount of 'work' the CA car has had done to it does worry me, as it seems to me these cars are fairly bulletproof. You can give the VIN to your local MB service dept. and have them run it for you; (easier if you know someone there of course), and see exactly what's been done.
