If you know the right people you can add a lot more factory original (yet unique) options to this already great car : https://mbworld.org/forums/clk63-bla...ck-series.html

Not trying to give you a hard time, but I thought unless it's on the window sticker, it's not a factory installed option? I'll take your word for it if you say it's
on your sticker, no need to post it.

On my BB now but there used to be a sticky here with the order guide. Not sure its noted there or not. Originally Posted by rage2

Don't remember if I posted a pic in my auction or not, think I did. It was the one and only factory installed option and mine does not have it.
There is however one difference between some of our cars though it was never an option. Some cars have TPMS and some do not. Mine does not TPMS either and I'm kinda glad about that one......
Back from dinner, here is my window sticker:

Anybody know anything about this car:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...AIT#vi-content
It's the right colour for me and has low miles. Carfax looks clean even with 4 owners reported.
Car appears to have the badge taken off the trunk for some reason, but otherwise looks to be in good condition from the pictures.
Any help/advice apppreciated.

This car's been on sale for quite some time. It's priced fairly high for what it is, but that's because they paid a little too much for it at the auction.

Not only have both badges on the trunk lid been removed, but apparently the "comfort-oriented C" transmission program is deleted as well. Where do they come up with this stuff?Originally Posted by thebishman

CONGRATS!!!! Nice low mile BS. Someone lost their *** on that thing compounded by the fact that they never drove it. I doubt the rings are even seated yet...

If Chicago paid the guy 80 for it and he bought at sticker, it was $27.50 per mile!
I'm jealous, wish I could take a hit like that and not have it eat at me!

Nice! I hope you got the 6.2? Extended cab ultra short bed is the only config right (crew cab is coming but is too long imo)... The Raptor is an amazing dune racer and very specifically tailored stock recreational truck even more so than the Dodge Power Wagon....Originally Posted by joecamotto

bishman...congratulations on the clk63, it's gone to a better home than the original owners which is a rare thing but 1900miles in 3 years is such a waste...enjoy

Just took a quick blast up to KC and back to get 'Clearplex' on the windshield. This car is awesome. Very solid, and frankly the best sounding exhaust EVER!! lol More thoughts later.

I'm also looking for a BS ... black, under 12K miles, well-treated. Any leads?
Seen a few in the usual places (cars dot com, ...) though I'm kinda surprised at the number of vehicles with 2 and 3 owners during such a short time span. Am I perhaps being over-cautious about that?
There's a single-owner BS (black) with 11K miles in Anaheim: it's a local car but looking at the carfax makes me wonder about its history: has replaced airbag, injector, rear-axle, repair to wiring harness, etc. Any perspective on that vehicle, or advice about how to identify 'good' from 'bad' in general?
There's also a handful in Florida and Texas, though I understand those states don't require salvaged-vehicles to be declared as such ...
Appreciate any guidance

If the Anaheim car has really had that much work it would be easy to get a dealer to chek the VIN...I find it hard to believe that it's had that many issues though...

Not uncommon for these types of vehicles, i.e. expensive, limited editions, to change hands fairly frequently even with low miles, so I wouldn't worry about that.
The amount of 'work' the CA car has had done to it does worry me, as it seems to me these cars are fairly bulletproof. You can give the VIN to your local MB service dept. and have them run it for you; (easier if you know someone there of course), and see exactly what's been done.

Not trying to give you a hard time, but I thought unless it's on the window sticker, it's not a factory installed option? I'll take your word for it if you say it's
on your sticker, no need to post it.
My car came with a fully integrated iPod adaptor which was NOT dealer installed, unless they installed it while it was still on the car hauler, I was at my dealership when they pulled my car off the trailer, iPod adaptor and all.Originally Posted by SMP
