Reverse Logic: great products
Just wanted to give a nod to some great products from Fred Gwinn who owns www.reverselogic.us
I just bought two of the jack pad adapters that he makes for the BS as well as a couple of the 'lug bolt' tools. These products help immensely in jacking up the car and changing out wheels, and the quality is awesome. Fred makes these himself in his workshop. I used these with my GT-R and there is no better way to ensure not buggering up the bodywork, or scratching wheels. Highly recommended.

Nice find. Just to clarify: for the BS, if you buy wheel bolts or the lug bolt guide tool, it's M14x1.5, NOT M12x1.5 as stated on the website.
A bit off topic but does anyone use a tad of blue threadlocker on wheel bolts? Good or bad?

If you use a torque wrench and properly tighten each lugnut, there is no reason to use threadlocker. Not good nor bad, just pointless.

Not on certain MB's including this one, the puck is round and the fitting area for the adapter is rectangular but open on one side. I saw a puck fail on the open side because it wasn't perfectly aligned. The puck will work but it's safer to get the adapter.

Another good idea is to replace the frame receptacles with the much more substantial units from an ML. They are about $9 each. Make sure to get the correct mating Reverse Logic piece.

I've jacked my car up to change over from street tires to drag slicks and back literally dozens of times, I've never had any issue with the stock jack points/pads? Just buy a proper high quality floor jack (such as an Astro Pneumatics or All-Star Performance Products) with interchangable pads and it should not be an issue. The interchangable pads allow for secure and proper jacking on multiple locations such frame rails, axles or rear-end housing depending on your specific needs. It's aluminum, has an extra low 2 inch pick up point, adustable length 2-piece arm, weighs only about 40 pounds and can fully extend in 6 or 7 pumps and has adjustable speed lowering. A good floor jack will run you $350-$500 but worth every penny. It always makes me laugh when I see guys jacking up there $100K plus cars/race cars with a $29 floor jack from Wal-Mart...these are usually the same guys at track days wearing the $50 helmets, $50 dollar head, $50 helmet

Fred actually sent me the correct lug bolt guide, i.e. the M14x1.5. To tell the truth they're almost too damn gorgeous to use for their intended purpose!! lol
