Just FYI: there was a new nav disc update released in October for the CLK BS.

Does it improve the current COMAND system or is it just an address/route update like all of the other "older" systems?

Truthfully I can't say at this point in time as I just bought the BS about 6 weeks ago. It does update the software when the disc is first installed, but whether there are any functional improvements in access time, etc. I don't know. Since the disc in the car was from 2007, for me the main reason to buy the 2011 disc was the data updates.

I bought mine directly from Navteq for the usual and ridiculous price of $249. Your dealer may give you a discount on it especially if you're a member of MB club of USA.
