Thanks, just wrote them an email, problem is I live in Miami Fla, is a little far for me and shipping plus taxes will eat me alive, but for the right price anything is possible....
The merc in Pompano was sold, I spoke to them yesterday, eventhough I think it was a bit overprice, better deals can be found, I guess we just have to wait...
I wonder why people let go of this cars so fast, I notice most of them have had 2 or 3 owners and with barely any miles?

I'll never understand how someone could buy a car as fun as the black series then not drive it.

Just picked up a Ford GT, from a guy who had to unload his collection of five magazine cover hot rods and several exotics.

Yeah, I know. They will follow when the vid is posted to YouTube. This is just a prerelease since the "editor in chief" wasn't posting this soon enough for my liking ![action](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/action1.gif)
Thanks! We had a professional guy do it though. With 2 camera standpoints, an assistant and another car to shoot from.

Found one for $73K
I am looking to trade my Ferrari for a CLK63 Black Series.
I found a local dealer with a one-owner car,
VIN# WDBTJ77H68F247366
2008-Mercedes-CLK-6-3-Amg-Black-Series-
White, with 11,000 miles.
The car is a little rough for this low mileage, with the driver
bolster worn way more than average and there are a few
rock chips despite a clear bra that is yellowing and needs to
be replaced. It was bought at Riverside from M-B Financing.
The Carfax shows an accident when near new in Utah, and
the seller says it was something minor, like a parking lot
fender-bender. The car was in a large garage and I looked
it over but did not see any serious repair issues or problems
with the paint. I really am not seeing any glaring issues that
effectively justifies a $71K price other than an ice-cold
local market and difficulty selling an internet car with an
accident history. I also checked with MB and they will not
Certify a car with an accident history.
Anyone have any words of wisdom? I am thinking to have a pro
inspector look over the car and go for it if he says cool. It's
still under the M-B warranty and has no mods.
Thanks,
-Ron

Close to it with a clean history, maybe around 15k miles... It's weird that someone would report to the insurance a fender bender to mess up the vehicles history, but I guess that's just me, when its time to resale if you ever do is going to be a little rough also, just my 2 cents... : )

Appreciate the relpies and the input.
I was most concerned about the 3 owners and 11K miles
with the excessive wear and tear, indicating that it may
have been tracked and the damage might even have been
from something else. I guess I am going to sit on the sidelines
and wait, but if any of you want to trade a Black Series for
a 2004 TDF Blue 6-speed 360 with 24,000 miles, let me know!

sorry, I must have miss read your post. I thought it said "my only guess is that the economy is forcing collector types to sell". While I don't disagree with you, I wanted to point out a very poignant area which forces many collections to be dissolved.

Ok, so I think I found the car I'm going to really try to buy but first I wanted you fellas to check out the carfax and tell me what you think... The car is basically brand new but apparently had some type of tranny problem before anyone even bought it with 109mi...
Anyone has had problems with this trannies??

No problem, I could have worded that better. I agree there are plenty of valid reasons why someone might be forced to sell - divorce, the economy, sending kids to school, etc. Almost all of my side work has dried up which is why I'm trying to find someone to take over my lease but hopefully business will pick up soon and I'll be able to keep the car.
