Gearbox question
I know the topic of throttle blipping has been discussed in this forum before in 08/09 but if money was no object how would it be achieved in a Black Series? Would it be a matter of getting a complete replacement MCT gearbox or C63 gearbox and some software changes
Given AMG is not interested in helping us achieve this, how can it be done?

If you're truly serious about having throttle blipping, why don't you contact AMG in Affalterbach, Germany? I know that they won't (or can't) do anything for U.S. specification cars, but they do modify and enhance AMG cars from the rest of the world (ROW) at their facility in Germany.

This is mostly a issue in the Engine management. The wet clutch transmission would be nice but it would not make the stock ecu blip the throttle. It might be possible to add this feature by a tuner but I might also look at replacing the ecu with one that has this feature. Like from a c63 or sl63, e63 etc. It would be trial and error though on if it would play nice with everything else.

Not sure if it's possible but ... if money were no object I'd explore connecting the AMG 7-Speed DCT from the SLS. I thought about doing this at some point until the whole 'money' thing came in to play...

The problem with the sls dct is that it is a rear transaxle with a torque tube like a corvette. It is a little more than a swap and most of the underneath of the car would have to be replaced.
