Just reached 40,000 miles. No problems, no squeaks, feels just great every day. Still on my second set of Bridgestones. Anybody racked up more miles? AS

I've got 20k on mine. Since one for sale with 65k which is probably the highest one on line.

I think you are boldly going where no man has gone before. I am at 30,000 miles and on my second set of tires as well (Bridgestone RE-11s). My warranty expires in 6 months so I will need to decide whether its worth extending.

35k. Gone through two sets of Corsa's and one set of PS2's. On my second set of PS2's. Black is still running strong.

Yes, my recent track experience convinced me Corsa's are the only way to go for a non-daily driver. I just purchased 2 new L/R Corsa rears off eBay for $150 less than a single one at Tire Rack! Now I'm looking for the fronts.

I haven't tried anything other than the Corsa's and Bridgestones. I find the Corsa to be a poor street tire. It is harsh and fast-wearing. The grip attributes are unusable on the street, as they need a couple of laps to warm up. When Corsa's are cold, turn-in oversteer is very marked. If you don't track often, I'd go to something else. 17k on mine ... I've only added 7k over the past 16 months of ownership.

Replaced the Corsa's with a set of Nitto INVO ... 99%+ street. I just added, this past weekend, about 30 miles of Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. The tires worked fine.

Car runs Great !!!

I'm glad to see people actually driving and enjoying their Black Series rather then keeping it in a garage for weeks on end.

Corsa's run great on the track. The Corsa's don't make sense if you daily drive the car. Since I daily drive my Black I decided on PS2's as they have better tire wear and provide enough grip when I need it. Save the Corsa's for the track

I couldn't pass-up new L/R rear Corsa's for $240.00/tire so yes, I'm going to save them for the track. I'll probably put PS2's, PS Super Sports (if Michelin ever makes a 285) or Conti DW's for week-end driving. I also changed from Mobil 1 to Motul 8100 and I'm going to change my brake fluid to Castrol SRF racing. BTW, I just turned 11K on the odo and my BS is running great!

12100 miles here. Still have my original fronts ( almost slicks at this point ) and on my second set of Corsas for the rear. Just cant seem to find a new set of fronts for a reasonable price. Still love my Black..

14.4k now. Hard sometimes with the dueling feelings of "meant to be driven" and "keeping the value." Most of the mileage on my cars is from long (5-7hours) interstate trips to visit friends. Tempted to just buy a trailer to tow since 800 round-trip miles is dumb to rack up just to drive friends around at the destination.

Had 17k when it sold 6 weeks ago. Had about 25% rear tread, 75% front on the Continental ContisportContact DW's. They replaced the Corsas at 8.8k miles.

Somewhere around 7 or 8K road miles and 3 miles on the strip. Only problem is the sucking sound from the car that seems to gravitate towards my wallet every time I go near it.

It sounds like you might have a slight case of "Modificationidus".

Slight? I would hate what would think if I get a full blown case!

Let us know how the 2 compare. Everything is subjective, but I prefer the looks of our cars to the photos of the new BS. From the reviews, it seems like they planted the rear end, taking away the huge oversteer. While it might be quicker on the track, my bet is it won't be quite as entertaining. (but, I'm the guy who loved the way a 911 used to hang the tail out on every fast corner, if you hit the brakes). AS
