Internals of a BS...engine and frame pics
Was at the body shop today and they mentioned having another BS getting some major repair work. Engine was out of the car and got a great view of what the car looks like, down to the frame and firewall.

its being repaired.....not junked. Kid crashed his car racing near south beach. The tech was telling me they had to repair the front frame by ordering new pieces and welding them on. I dont know how true that is, but i took pics and could not see any evidence after sanding and painting.

Car tainted for life. The car deserved better than frame damage at the hands of a kid racing it.
Speaking of which, there a list of VINs to avoid anywhere? Cause there's a candidate.

The vehicle is sitting on a Celette frame rack. This is the best way to repair a vehicle because it uses factory reference points underneath the car. If the pin on the jig does not match the hole, then the unibody is misaligned. Pretty simple and no guess work. I see that the frame rail ends have been sectioned and the rail extensions are new. Doesn't look to be major since the front rails are mostly intact. Moparbust, who is a body technician, had a CLS63 that had a hard front imapct that even cracked the engine subframe. That car was F%^#%$ up!
I would have had the shop installed the headers since the engine is already out and wouldn't cost anything.
BTW-where is that VIN????
