It looks great, but I think it would look better with the wrap on the roof and the side mirrors.
Wow! Looks awesome!

So far everyone likes the color choice on my Black Series. I was worried that it would be too crazy to go with Satin Orange. The car looks very aggressive and sharp at night. I will take some pictures tomorrow night and post it. Are there anyone thinking about wrapping their cars now?
I can go again next week but after that I won't be attending that much because I am going to be away for business. I might tell my friend to bring his new White LP700.

C63 is faster due to performance upgrade but CLK BS is much better handling car. I am planning to upgrade to Renntech ECU and intake. It will be a monster!Originally Posted by chawkins2001

I have to say when I heard orange I was very skeptical. But after seeing the finished product I have to admit that is a stunning car. I would not change a thing about it... i.e. the mirrors or the roof. It is perfect just as is. I wish I still lived in SoCal so I could see it in person.
C63 is faster.

I think vinyl wrapping is almost the same as putting a clear bra on a vehicle. It should last long if the car is garage kept and well maintained.

The vinyl wraps are only 2 mil thickness, whereas a 'regular' 3M clear bra type product is 8 mil. Hence the 3M products offer far greater protection, last much longer, and are easier to manipulate to complex curves, etc.
There are two products that add a 'matte' finish to the vehicle: Premier's Satin Guard, and Xpel's Stealth product. These are also 8 mil in thickness, so besides making the appearance of the paint 'matte', they also have all of the advantages of the regular 3M type products. Their only downside is that you can't change the vehicle's colour with them, only change the OEM paint from glossy to matte.

Satin orange vinyl on my car is much thicker than matt black or matt white. When I feel the matt black vinyl, it feels very thin like 2 piece of paper sticks together. When I feel my satin orange vinyl, it feels much thicker and it does not stretch easily.
