Getting closer to paint and install, rough primed and ready for final prep and paint. Hood will be going to body shop for paint shortly. The only thing I was unsure about was the hood emblem placement. If you recall on the first photos there were two recessed areas for the emblem, I deleted the one that was in the stock location and moved it up becuase I think I am going to paint the inlet ramp matte black to match my matte black grill and thought the emblem would interrupt the lines down there.

Yes, it clearly changed the lines if the hood but the goal was performance first asthetics second. The only way to get the amount of air in there that I need to feed the supercharger is with that amount of rise and those size inlets. The quality is incredible, I am very impressed with the fit. I will post up some photos once its painted.

It should definitely give you the added cooling and performance you're looking for. And it doesn't look bad considering aesthetics was second in line. I think once it's color matched it will come together nicely. Job well done jrcart!

Hell Yeah! Looks tough and a lot better color matched! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I would throw on an AMG decal on the sides of the raised portion.![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
Looking forward to your results.

CLK63 Black, E350 Wagon, Supercharged Denali, Lotus Elise, Tesla Model 3 Dual-Motor.
The side view shows how well the hood is blended into the cars profile.
I don't know... if it's for me, but it should work well...

Follows the original lines of the hood very well, being that it's functional I'm looking forward to finding out if there are any performance improvements with it.

yes and no, its a similar set up but not the stock size filters. Its a pretty insane set-up, I will post up pics when its finalized, makinga few changes as we speak.
