Top Gear new episode from today testing C63 Black Series

This is a link to the full show playing in 6 segments. It compares the C63 AMG Black Series against the Maserati MC Stradale. We all know Clarkson as an owner of the CLK63 Black called it the most thrilling car in the world a few years back on his DVD, but the C63 AMG Black doesn't seem to thrill him as much, but it puts up a very respectable lap time. The comparison test starts in part 2 of video link.

If you watch the 2 Top Gear CLK BS reviews, he has the exact same comments as the CBS. Almost word for word.
- Not a racing car
- Slow around the TG track (CLK BS 1:26)
- Rides harsh
- Rear end everywhere
- Drift machine
Only difference is, the conclusion is different. And the CBS was actually fast on the TG track. Maybe Jeremy Clarkson is growing up.

But the lap times speak volumes... If you want to drive the CBS like you are the drifting king of the world, you can. If you want to be smooth, you can do that too and get a better time. Clarkston likes to showboat and play the TV game.
Also believe that the car begs for bigger rubber.

damn its sick on how much faster the c bs is around the top gear track! Also faster tham the lexus lfa and the sl black! Wow. Regardless the clk black looks much better and was the best thrilling car not too long ago!

After looking at the video and listening to the comments I still prefer my CLKBS over the CBS. It seems to me the delta between the two is still narrow with a slight nudge going to the CLKBS because its larger (and IMO looks a lot better), more comfortable (TBD) and not as tire shredding as the CBS. It's going to be very interesting to read the realtime owner comparisions once the CBS starts hitting the US streets.

The CLK BS is eons nicer than the C BS which just doesn't look right with that stupid wing. The CLK BS is sinister and sexy. Just look at the EvoSport CLKBS, the murdered out one with massive tires and DyMag style wheels. That car is just

In my view the difference between a C63BS and a CLK63BS is... the CLK63BS is "Industrial Strength".
