Took one of my favorite weekend cars to pick up a new watch

Only one picture, but I thought I would share. Been wanting this hard to come by watch for a while and paying for this one year in advance of the release, paid off...

Very cool! Which watch is that? I see the Panerai bag in the background….but not sure which model. Panerai makes a wonderful timepiece. I picked up a Panerai Black Seal Ceramic a few months ago.

Your picture instantly reminded me of one I took earlier in the year with one of my watches. Maybe the CLK63 Black Series shifter is just a fancy watch holder. LOL!

Beautiful watch
I like to think of watches as less of a hobby, and more of an investment in good taste.

The funny thing is that my Breitling actually has gone UP in value since I bought it. LOL! That was a nice little surprise.

That's awesome. Glad I'm not the only one that thinks the CLK BS is an awesome watch holder. Hublot King Power F1 in the F1 safety car.

Cool, we can start a new trend with BS owners and their watches. Love the Hublot and Breitling. Been considering a Hublot Big Bang Rose Gold

My watch is the Panerai 507, efficiently called the Bronzo. Lots of buzz in the Panerai watch world over this watch now. It's a specifical addition, only 1,000 worldwide. The are selling in the aftermarket for 3 times the ordinal purchase price

Side note, how do you upload the picture in such a large format? Todd

Nice, those watches are worth about half of what the car is now worth.

rage - Loved that Hublot King Power F1 ever since I first saw one...but alas it would be a lotto watch for me.

I picked up a new Tudor this week and that's about my current threshold.

Your watch is stunning the more I look at it. Well done.

The larger format picture for mine was from uploading to Photobucket and choosing the larger picture size, then just pasting the link to it here.

That is a wicked watch! Looks like I will be calling my watch guy to find one for me.

The Black Series shifter and a watch picture must be a state of mind...LOL! Pretty awesome to see more people with that same idea of the beauty of the two though. Cheers!

Hublot lost the F1 license to Rolex last year, so there were no more new F1 models manufactured. As of November 2013, all F1 models are sold out, as in registered with owners in the Hublot system. The original F1 Zirconium in my pic (LE of 500) is one of the few Hublots that are holding value, and you do see it popping up here and there for sale, generally at original MSRP. Good luck with your search!

That shifter is the perfect watch holder. I've tried the same in the CBS and it just doesn't look as cool. Big shifter and lack of CF makes it look kinda bland.
