You're right! One learns something new every day....sweet little car it must be!

I'd still like the CLK better though

Gentlemen response. All I will say is that I disagree with it.
It will be interesting to see if someone bites which is the true test of its market value.
Good luck.

I imagine its the US regulations that stop us from having the Euro fun versions. It's not cheap to have those cars pass all the US regulations, especially the crash tests. In California, the SMOG laws really stop the fun!

The day Americans stop buying SUV's will be the day they begin exporting wagons/estate cars back to the U.S. again. I think its more demand driven than cost of certification (given, its a product of the two variables). Cadillac reportedly sold only 1200 CTS V wagons. GM would've had to be running 3 shifts to keep up w/demand in order for Audi to take notice and start exporting RS6 Avants.

While I would absolutely positively LOVE to own a C63 wagon, there is some sort of twisted pleasure of being able to drive a 5000lbs AWD beast that can outrun many "sport cars" while carrying a weekend's worth of luggage, the family and the dog, knowing it can also take you pretty much anywhere regardless of road conditions...... GOD BLESS AMERICA AND THE ML63AMG!!

Just curious but why did you regard the Black as a garage queen? Why didn't you drive it more? Great car, best of luck on the sale.

Because it's in show room condition and I can't enjoy it because I'm constantly on the defense when driving.

Different schools of thought when it comes to cars for people, drive or preserve.

Completely understand the idea of driving defensively keeps you on edge and not able to fully enjoy the car.
