2008 MB CLK Black Series
Selling my CLK BS

Well, it's time to move back to Porsches. I absolutely LOVE, this car, but I made the mistake of buying a garage queen and just can't bring myself to driving it on a more regular bases, as I had initially intended too. I looked for a over one year to find this no stories, completely stock, adult driven and PERFECT CLK BS, not easy now that our BS are 6 years old. I wish I had pictures of the underside, because it looks and is as clean as the paint work. I know many say this, but it really does look brand new. I welcome all inspections. When I bought it, I drove it directly to the film installer, has film on over 50% of the paint, and then drove it directly to MB of Walnut Creek (I will provide the lead tech that works on all my MB, he can attest to the mechanical and overall condition of the car) and had the 5 year service ($3k). Went overboard and had the spark plugs replaced, and the batteries and the belt (even though it didn't need it). If you speak with the tech that works on my MB, you'll fond how much of a nut I am when it comes to buying the right cars and maintaining them. I don't allow them to drive or wash it and I always cover the seats with a seat cover (the bolster has absolutely zero wear)

Let me know if you're interested. Thanks. Todd

+1 Good luck with the sale. 2300 miles is super low. I picked up mine last year with less than 3000 miles on the odometer. Owners like you make it a great opportunity for other enthusiasts to own a pristine Black Series. I say you should drive it for another 200 miles before trying to sell it. This car was made to be driven

Thanks All. If I had room, I would not be selling it. Especially after searching for over one year for the perfect BS, who every ends up with this one will really benefit from me being so ****-retentive!

you gotta at least have a 2car-garage, besides the inbound Pcar, what's the other gem taking up the space? just curious.. :P

Funny how so many of us BS owners also own Raptors. I just saw the new 2015 F150's at the Chicago Auto Show last week, I really hope they offer a Raptor version. I assume the new all aluminum body, sub frame and running gear will lighten it up nicely and offer a significant bump in performance. They claim that they reduced the curb weight of a standard 2015 F150 by 716 pounds over a comparable 2014

King Suspension, 2" over front control arms, Method beadlocks with 37's, wide body conversion, Stainless Works long tubes and full exhaust, ADD bumpers, nerfs, skids and rear tire carrier, SCT tune and Ford Motorsports heads and cams(back door under the table stuff). You should do a Barstow to Vegas desert run with us sometime, it's a blast and will show you what these trucks can really do.

Very nice, love all the nicely done upgrades. I've been considering a wheel upgrade, looking at going with wheels that can accommodate the brembo brake upgrade AV1 or HRE.

I really like the King Suspension you did, those are like eye candy, they looks as well as they perform, I looked at those for my 2012 F250. Love the lights on the as well, do they create wind noise?

I'm currently researching Roush SC 590HP kit, but want to be sure I can keep my Rigid Industries 40" LED light bar under the hood.
You should upgrade your lights to 2013, makes a bid difference. Nice overall job, the upgrades to our Raptors are endless...wife hates that part.

I have the Stainless Works Exhaust, no can do the headers in CA,. Love having Euro cars and Muscle trucks, we get the best of both worlds with exhaust notes...

Beautiful vehicle in pristine condition.
No disrespect but I was offered a 2013 CBS with less than 10K miles for the price you are asking for your car.

None taken emericr. 2013 CBS is a different animal....someone looking for a more raw MB that I believe is destine to become a collectors car, will have a hard time finding one with the low miles and in like new show room condition as well as maintained as mine is.

Nice thing about being in a position to sell a car to make room for another purchase, is, if it doesn't sell at the price I'd feel good about, is, I'll just need to add a little more overhead by keeping it and paying for storage fees. I have other cars in storage and it's fairly reasonable.

Thanks for your concern though.

Agree...CLKBS is a better candidate to become a collector item in the long run IMHO. There is only ONE FIRST Black Series. The "raw" driving experience is what people will be looking for in these cars.

The first Black Series was an SLK actually. It never came to the states though.
