Weistec ECU and Throttle Blip

An E63 or CLS63 would be a great way to go, I'm about to upgrade to the 07 CLS63. DM Ralph and ask him how much he'd charge you for doing that.

I am curious too. Wondering how it is holding up, and if there are any other options besides having to spend the $3,000 or so to get it done?

I think Ralph is the best option, you send your TCU over to him, he does it for you, and you don't have to spend 3k to get it done.

DM him, german32er on the forums. Not sure if he is still around, still does the mod, or what. When I talked to him when I was considering an M156 car, he told me they make one or two trips a year to the US to have it done from what I understood.

CLK63 Black series Mars Red, LS3 RX7
Sorry to bring this back up from the dead but am interested in getting this done. I am curious what the current options are to add rev match to the M156 Black series. I contacted Weistec and they said they are not currently offering this mod. I sent email and PM to Ralf but have not heard back. Not sure if they are still doing this. I reached out to Eurocharged and was told they can do it and that I don't have to send in my ECU and TCU and that it can be done through OBDII port and I just need their V5 tune which included throttle blip. This seems contrary to everything I have read that states that both TCU and ECu need to be sent in. On top of that, Renntech says valve body needs upgrading.
So what gives. What is the most recent version of this mod. Can it be done with out messing with TCU? Is rep who I spoke to correct in that They can just send me their V5 tune and I can load through OBDII or does this still require TCU programing out of car if tuner is not local to me?
There is a post here about the guy in Australia who had Speedshift installed without out TCU having to come out but poster did not state who did it and was unclear which company provided the Speedhift tune.
Thanks in advance for any clarification I can get on this. my car already has a tune so just looking to add throtle blip. Eurocharged said existing tune will have to be wiped.

On my experience with blip throttle added to my previous CLK 63 non BS by Ralf directly near Stuttgart, I confirm that the TCU needed a software update. Ralf explained me that ECU tune only can work to increase the blip, but only on a car that came with blip from factory as C63.
It was possible to add only blip (no tune), keep a previous tune (extra costs) or to have the homemade tune (extra costs)
