Fuel Filter Replacement

Who can give me the right gouge on fuel filter replacement interval on the Black. Have just under 15K on the odo and was thinking about replacing them. Until that is, I found out that they were an integral part of the fuel pump x 2 for a total of about $1100 Will choke it down if I need to, but don't want to replace them until needed.

Fuel filter maintenance is every 6 years or 60K miles.

I bought mine in 2007 ... it's almost 7 years ... just answered the OP's question. Had my filters changed by the dealer last year.

Verdict seems to be 6yrs/60K miles. That said, what a cra**py design...replacing two perfectly good fuel pumps as part of routine, preventative maintenance. What was MB thinking!
