Car is in fine shape, chips and scratches as you'd expect from 100k but I park it anywhere without a worry. Former owner left his Michael Jackson and Showtoons CDs in the changer.
Congratulations on your BS. I'm sure you won't have any problems with it.

Well, even if there are, at that price point there's really nothing to be complained about given its history, it's the perfect combination to make it into a project car.

Do you mind telling us how much you paid?

I am located in Roanoke VA, about an hour from VIR . The final price was $37k. The 9 pages of un-interrupted MB service records showed a little OCD on the A and B services which was telling. Every installed part was MB($$$) even the wiper blades. Tires and alignment had a regular cadence which was to be expected. There are a lot of part and service codes on the records I will need to research or post for help on deciphering. The team at the Fresno MB (where car was bought and serviced) service desk were of no help(not even a simple call back), the team at Coconut Grove Fla. MB were absolutely awesome. PPI included pictures, video walk around, full records and a very detailed code read.

The carfax did show an accident at 24,261 miles, front and back damage with tow away. I reasoned that with lower miles and service at MB that it was probably repaired correctly. Guys at Fla. MB did not comment on PPI and I specifically told them to look for frame damage. I do measure a 3/8" sag on the rear DS quarter as compared to PS. Will dig into that later.

Has anyone started a chronological VIN decoder?
