2008 BS White
I went and looked and drove this BS yesterday.
Overall it looks good, the repair was to passenger quarter panel, the repair looks good to my untrained body repair eye.
Drives and runs very well, although for me the tire wheel package is a bit to large for the car, has 305's in the back!
Needs new tires and parking brake is inop, slight drivers bolster wear and a scuff on drivers seat, other than that everything works as designed and in good shape.
If this car had the original wheels I would buy it.

2008 BS White
Visually it looked fine to me, but i'm no body repair expert.
Hard to find a BS at a better price , but for me not having the original wheels is a deal breaker, unless it was 40K or so.

This Black Series started out on CarGurus
about a month ago as a private listing
I was unable to get in touch with the owner
thru CarGurus
A salesman at the dealer in the first post
said it had some engine work done -
He said it had some head work done
and he said that is usually done for
more HP...
A follow-up call was with a different
salesman who knew nothing about the car
Thank-You

I'm not 100% sure if it was this one or the other white one I was looking at. When I sent the ebay dude asking how many owners previously owned the car he came back with something like 8+ people have owned it.

Price reduced below $50k now...
I always loved the white CLK BS's, I just fear the bodywork and what really happened...

The gentleman who had the car that I now own only kept it for six or eight months, dumped a bunch of money into it, drove it for maybe 1000 miles, and then traded it in for a Ferrari. From what I was told, he does that with all of his cars. So I would not get hung up on the amount of owners one of these has had. Focus on the condition and documentation of the car as a whole.

With cars like this, the amount of owners really does not matter. All that matters is the maintenance history, and overall condition of the car. Lots of people buy cars like these for short periods of time and then sell them for whatever new toy interests them. Very true. The low priced cars are like this. My car is a no stories car, and fully documented. When people talk about these lower priced cars, it is this lack of history, accident stories, and so on, that make them lower priced. Gotta pay to play.
