Selling my Black Series
Decided to sell my Black Series.
Too many cars, not enough time.
Focusing on pre-merger AMG builds.
Second owner, purchased CPO in 2010 from MB of South Charlotte.
Original owner Chip Ganassi, Target Racing.
Unmodified except for carbon fiber wrapped grille and addition of fire extinguisher.
Corsas replaced by Conti Extreme Contact DWS to make more streetable.
9000 miles, Black over Black.
This will become an appreciating asset.
Reasonable offers considered.

rare under 10k miles, best to luck on sale and completely agree on appreciating asset. Watched Harry's Garage video on future of collector cars and this fits they're projection for cars to buy perfectly. It will be a $200k plus car I predict within the next 15-20 years.

Perfect example..
Bought a 1966 Aston Martin DB-6 Superleggera Vantage spec in 1983 in the U.K.
Paid $13,000 for it.
Sold it in 1997 for $20,000.
Current auction prices are $400K +...
Not the only personal story I can tell !!
For anyone in the 30's and 40's the CLK63 Black Series will appreciate 3X - 4X in twenty years...
Drive it, enjoy it and don't modify or beat it and hold on to it...

I am curious too. Trying to get an accurate gauge on the value of mine, and it is hard with so few of these out there.
If the original poster would prefer to PM that number, I would greatly appreciate it for reference in the value and sale of my own car (which I am trying to do now).

I'm second owner, purchased February 2010 with 5600 miles, mileage when sold was 9204.
No mods, pristine with full service history...
Higher mileage seems to diminish price.
You need to find a buyer who appreciates the car and can see that over the years it will return a much higher value.
