had a silver one that had come from a

I stopped by to take a look and was

approached by a salesman

Straight up I told him I saw the car

listed on the internet

The salesman began telling me about the

car as if I had no knowledge of the CLK63 BS

The BS emblem on the boot had been buffed

to the point where the color black was removed

Pictures show correct OEM emblems

When I asked about the rear emblem and if they

were going to replace it the salesman replied that

I knew nothing about the Black Series and that

black series was just a name that had nothing to

do with the color of the car or its emblems and that

was how it came from the factory and

that if I did not believe him I should look it up

I gave him a good day and left

The car did not sell and was shipped back to the

dealer in Florida from whence it came...

Funny you mention the emblem. I've had a CLK63 BS and currently have a C63 BS. The most noticeable similarities between the 2 cars is that the BS emblem had/has some delamination. In other words, the emblems on BSs seem to be surprisingly low quality considering the cars they stuck them on.

I agree. I have a CLK63BS and had another CLK63BS previously, and the BS emblem on both of them had/have delamination.

My C63 Black Series has the delamination as well, waiting for it to get really bad before I put the new one on
