CLK Black Series, Alfa 4C
New to the Club
Hey all!
I just picked up a CLK Black Series over the weekend and I’m excited about being part of the club! She’s a beast and I’m looking forward to many years of ownership.
One question for the group: what tire pressures do you run? The B-pillar tag has 48/44 psi (F/R) cold as the recommended pressure, but that seems way too high to me - especially when the max inflation for the Pirellis is only 50 psi.

Welcome to the madness!! What are the details on yours? Pictures?
Also, you can update your details now from "hopeful future CLK Black owner" to, "Current owner of insanity on wheels".

Thanks! Profile accurately reflects the update now
It was a local car in the SF Bay Area, so it was a pretty easy process from that standpoint. Good condition, but will take some TLC to get it back to a level that is deserving of the Black Series namesake.
Any luck on finding an other CLK Black, Mitch?

Check the tag on the inside of the gas filler door. It actually shows recommended tire pressures of 38f/33r for speeds up to 155mph. The higher pressures (48f/44r) are for speeds in excess of that.

I do not have another one yet. A few weeks ago I had a PPI done on one and made an extremely fair offer, but the dealer was a nightmare to deal with, so nothing happened. My attention span sucks, so I have been going back and forth on a CLK63 Black Series, E63 AMG-S, and Panamera GTS.

Awesome! What kind of mileage was on it?

Yep! We are in the same boat for about half of those. Love the E63 AMG-S Wagon. Just a matter of finding one for a proper price. CLS63 AMGs are awesome in looks and sound. Love those. I actually bought an R8 about (3) weeks ago and had to undo the deal because my wife's driving record made the car unable to be insured as long as she lived in our house (yes...I considered changing that). That sucked, because I was excited about that car. We drove an 11k mile Gran Turismo (3) months ago when she wanted a new car, and the car was breaking as I drove it. The electric mirrors would not unfold, and the check engine light came on. All that in less than 2 miles of driving. No thanks. So the current flock of possibilities for the next car in our house is the CLK63 Black Series (again), E63 AMG-S, and Panamera (I dislike the outside, but love the interior). Needless to say, the Black Series is top of the list.
