CLK63BS Clicking Sound
In driving the car, there seems to be a loud, progressive clicking sound comping from the rear half of the car. Is that common in your cars? My hope is that it's some sort of typical differential noise. The car just went in for an A service. Nothing was notated or mentioned there, but I'm not super confident in the dealer's ability to assess or diagnose older cars when it involves more than a tablet....

ie. i've had mine for the last 10yrs (from sub 16k miles) to now having just under 20k miles, never had any issue; car is completely stock, no aftermarket mods besides an oil catch-can; never had any weird clicking sound from the rear end of the car.
There are some pretty knowledgeable folks on this website, so hopefully someone can offer suggestions about what you might be hearing.
Good luck!

I am the 5th owner. The car was purchased on BAT with 19.300 miles on the clock. It just passed 20,000 miles. It's bond stock.
Oddly enough, I really only noticed the noise after picking it up from an A service at the dealer.

definitely take it right back to the MB dealer where you've serviced it and have them look it over.
