No Better way to Kick off Summer!
Than w/ a brand new 550 4Matic! I just returned my 10' E5504, which I loved, but wanted a change. I haven't even driven it yet, it was just delivered to my house! All I can say at this point is, what a gorgeous car! Can't imagine how powerful it must feel, becasue my E550 was very stout and now I have a twin turbo to boot!

Look at that nice a$$ interior! I just with M-B didn't cave into American-Big Gulp obsessors and expose those eye sore cup holders unlike how they do in the EU versions.
Plenty of them in the previous body style (Lease return time is inevitable.

^true but the E is more affordable for many individuals, who wish to drive something other than an entry level C. Besides higher msrp, my insurance premium went up by 800 per year when i went from my E to a cls.

Yikes. Just read the other Thread where someone's insurance went up by $1K from their E350. I already pay enough insurance on mine.

I had 1 claim on my E for 5000 worth of damage, no speeding tixs, and yes i was at fault. My insurance is now 2800 a year for 250/500 coverage on the cls. Oh well if you want to play u gotta pay

I just payed over $2K for the full year for my car. I even shopped around mega, don't know why I get so reamed in insurance.

Good way to bring in summer indeed. Mine brought in the New Year. 12/30. 6 months and I still love it.
Power wise, It actually feels like its pulling harder than when it was new.

Thanks and of couse she does! That's the norm once a car breakes in! How many miles now? I had my E for 3 yrs and only put 18k on it.

Mahalo and you acutally live in the perpetual summer! I've been to Maui, Kauai and of course Oahu. My favorite was Kauai, least inhabited and commercial. At least in 95'! Haven't been in a while.

I've got just about 900 now. Every vehicle has a bit of break in that I've experienced but not as much as this car. This one feels stronger than even the 2 demos I drove at the dealer with more miles at the time. It's impressive.

I plan to retire on the Big Island one day. For me thats my favorite island. Snow, rolling hills, volcanos, rain forests, and beaches all on the same island. At least I can drive for miles there and zone out on some beautiful roads. Still wouldn't need a 4Matic though like you do up there.
Hell I get irritated when it rains.
