cls550 what sick exhaust is this?

can you post a vid of your c218 550 exhaust then? I don't think res delete sounds as good as downpipes or make more power.

Sorry, no video yet. Maybe next weeks.
Trust me!

lol u don't have a vid cuz my downpipes sounds obsolete. Btw I was one of the first to do resonator delete on c218 550 so u are actually being pretty funny to me and now I'm the first to post about downpipe on c218 550

I don't have a dog in this fight, but feel I'm able to comment. I may have been one of the first members to post my CLS550 resonator delete results/sound clip on this forum. If it has helped some people, I'm glad... but itz not for everyone. I continue to like the sound of my Benz... and itz actually improved/deepened over time (just my observation).
Watching the video, I like what I hear. I'm not certain if your idle is warm or cold, but I'm impressed. With a resonator delete, my cold idle sounds fantastic... and acceleration always puts a smile on my face. Unfortunately, a warm idle sounds fairly wimpy to me when I'm standing at the back of the Benz. The good news... I drive from the front, so I really don't experience the 'problem'.
I'm absolutely happy with my resonator delete and see no reason to go further. If I were to attempt a deeper sound, I might have tried removing the secondary cats as my first option. If I wanted more power... downpipes should do the trick.
In the end, I hope BOTH of you are happy with your results. Enjoy the ride...

Silly question....If I delete the res. will MB know and will this affect my warranty or lease return...I want to do this but prefer not to have an issue on a 3 year lease...
Also what is the cost?
Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere...

It's just car talk. Right now I'm having much fun driving with the power increase that I don't even miss my ex car which is a custom dyno tuned r35 gtr. Here's a video clip that I made, might be getting bmc air filters next but not sure how much more hp it'll give, just got my H&R track+ spacers waiting for spring to come so I can lowered it with them on.

Believe it or not, I watched the entire video... I was captivated by the wonderful sound of your downpipes and exhaust. You've done a GREAT job and should be proud of your beast... congratz!
