Black badging - thoughts

Got these off a website. They were inexpensive. Like $15.00. Swapped out the chrome ones last week. It was tough getting the old ones off. Had to use Goof Off to get the adhesive off.

What do you guys think? Too cheesy? (Sorry, car is a little dirty)

I like them. Can you post a link where you got them ? I fitted black badges 18 months ago but painted Factory badges myself.

I'd like to see different views before commenting. To say from one single photo, well......

Not a fan....no disrespect....but it doesn't flow with the other chrome on the rear. If the chrome pieces were all black it would look better.....but I wouldn't mix all three (black paint, chrome, and what looks to be black chrome letters).

Post ....and again.....

If there were more blacked-out details I think I might switch. California is supposed to be offering colored plates again. I am going to go to black myself.

Guess each to their own, I like to not stray too far from the brand identity and not do non Mercedes aftermarket mods to the appearance. If I did not like the original features of the car I would buy something else. Its a Mercedes after all and you pay a premium for the brand identity. But at the end of the day thats my view, its what brings you pleasure that counts.

Yeah, maybe you guys are right. I think I might just debadge. That looks cleaner.

I like the black look you've created, but I opted to debadge myself.
To preview it, I used Photoshop... this helped me with my decision:
