What are real world prices for the 2013's?
What are folks paying for the 2013 CLS? Located in SoCal and dealer competition is pretty strong. Looking for a starting point should I be prepared to stroke the check. Thinking 10% should be fairly easy give low sales numbers and high inventory with the 14's coming soon.

I'm in sort of the same boat as you. Been doing a fair amount of research, and I'm not sure yet if I want to pop full price for a new one, or find a stellar '12. With the '14s coming out, I'll bet I'd also be able to locate a really cherry '13 for a decent price. As with you, it will really come down to how motivated the dealers are going to be to move the old inventory.

Hype - I drove a loaded 13 this week and while I liked the car overall I am struggling to compare / contrast my W212. Power seemed to be roughly equal (understand your CLS63 stomps the E550) but the engine noise was much louder in the cabin. Given the W212 is paid for and would be ~$40k trade I'm struggling to justify another $35k to trade for what I see as very cool / unique styling but not much else. Ride was equal, fit/finish are both nice, etc...... need a little perspective from someone that drives both daily.
