Had to fix a slight bend in my wheel this morning. I took some quick shots on my iPhone at the shop
Please share your comments/suggestions
Im thinking about doing the Renntech tune. I called George directly in FL and he was a pleasure to talk to and was very helpful in choosing the correct mod. He even was willing to work with my budget
Do I need a faster car? ....No, but it may help me sleep better at night
P.S. I know my tips are poking out too far. Im going to have them adjusted but I haven't had the time with my work schedule.
Please share your comments/suggestions

The original exhaust openings for the cls550 are oval
The tips I purchased online connected with circle tubing
Since my car is a lease i had the exhaust shop leave as much of my original exhaust opening as possible. Ive already made a second trip to the shop to have them fixed

What kind of wheels do you have on there?
I have the same car... 2013 CLS550. I'm looking at the Vossen CV5 20 inch, staggered. Thinking about putting 255/30/20 on the front, and 295/25/20 on the back. But it's gonna cost me $4k. Just curious what you have on your car, how much they cost and also, how they ride. I'm just a little scared that daily driving with the 20 inch Vossens with such a low profile will be rough on both my wheels as well as my spine. lol

I wanted vossens as well but I came across another board member selling 20" s65 style AMG reps. Staggered 8.5 and 9.5 However i needed a spacer for the front wheels to clear the brake caliper.
I got hankook ventus v12 evo from tirerack
The ride is more stiff than stock but I am used to having 22" deep dish wheels. They fit the car perfectly and are much more practical than rims. Living in the tri-state area with rims can be a nightmare

I wrapped my spoiler with gloss black 3M Vinyl, Getting the roof done tomorrow to match. Why did mercedes stop producing the cls with panoramic roof option?

550's dont come equipped with the V8 biturbo badges. I had to pay 200 at my dealer LOL

Gloss black roof.... OE tune on Tuesday. I am overnighting the ECU to California, They will flash it and overnight it back out on wednesday and by thursday I should be back on the road.
From what I've been told I should see about 90-95 hp gain

I just had my roof painted gloss black 2 weeks ago! I thought I was the only one who was pissed that they didn't offer the pano roof for this car.
Did you paint your roof or wrap the roof?
I was debating 20 inch Vossens, but ended up sticking with all black 19 inch rims instead of upgrading to 20's. I just got a huge bubble on my side wall after hitting a pothole with my 19's, so I figured that if I had 20's, the rim would get knocked up too!

I vinyl wrapped with 3m gloss black. And I love my 20's. They sit on the car perfectly and I've achieved the sporty look I was going for without ruining the ride or suspension. I also have many years experience driving with expensive 22" custom wheels in new york. I consider myself a pro by now

I agree, However the glass black pano roof would completely tie this car together. I dont understand how a c250 can come equipped with a black roof but my cls can't

I have been back and forth about the whole roof thing.......I'd probably go with a CF wrap if I did.......don't know why I don't.........oh wait, because no around here does that....

IMO the carbon vinyl wrap looks ****ty because it is matte finish and looks far from the real thing. Gloss black can easily pass for paint

Ok the ECU was overnighted this morning to Serge at Benz-Works. I have read countless A+ reviews for Serge and his crew. Oe Tuning stage 1 one after further review will really bring around 70-75 hp not 95 like I mentioned earlier. Just got my valentine back from service. Cant wait for the AMG rally this saturday!
