I would like to hard wire my V1 by the rearview mirror. Does anyone know if we are able to tap 12v switchable power from the rearview mirror or that box on the windshield behind the rear view mmirror?

Once you get it off you will see a three wire connector all the way to the left (on the drivers side) It has a grayish/bluish wire, brown and white wire. The white wire is your ground and the grayish/bluish wire is your postitive.

My V1 has been acting funny so this morning I decided to overnight it to valentine for service. They said their usual turnaround is 3 days. I also purchased a savvy. Cant wait until I get my v1 back so I can set it up
