Lunar Blue CLS550 Tints

Hello,

I just got the 2014 CLS550 in Lunar Blue with Beige interior and I want to get the windows tinted.
I live in NY where I believe 70% visibility is the legal limit.
I have a few questions.

What is the stock tint of the windows? Is it even over 70%?

If so, would getting a 70% tint even look different or be worth it?

Does anyone have any pictures in any color (my color would be a bonus) with tints that they think would look good on Lunar Blue so I can see some different options of percentages?

Thanks

If your going to spend the $$ for a tint job I would at least make it noticeable..30-35% is classy, not too dark.

I'm sure you had your windows tinted by now but here is a picture of an Arizona legal tint...

No need to remove door panels...

You do not have to remove the door panels for the windows to be tinted. The person who did my car works for several MB dealerships in Phoenix and Tucson AZ, so he knows the cars, and any tricks, plus he does a great job and 15+ years experience. This is my 3rd car by him. He did it in my garage 'cause I'm < 3 miles from the dealer. I can usually talk the dealer into paying, but I got 10 grand off the MSRP so they wouldn't go for paying for the tint. I believe he did 35%, and I also had the windshield done with a product called "AIR 80 Automotive Window film" by LLumar. Its a clear film that is supposed to keep the heat & UV down. Both are really high in this part of AZ! Seems to work OK but since I didn't drive the car much before the windshield tint it is hard to tell. It took him about 2.5 hours but that includes some BS time.
