Chicago Area CLS 550 needed for a free AMS/ALPHA ECU tune
We are looking to develop a tune for the SL,E and CLS 550 platform and we need you to help us with that. In exchange for letting us use your CLS 550 for about a week to develop and test the tune we will in turn give you the car back loaded with that tune FREE OF CHARGE.

To be clear we are looking for any 2012+ CLS 550 that carries the 4.7L Twin Turbo engine.
Our tuners are some of the best in the world! In fact we are the first company to put the 2014 E63 4matic in the 10's on stock turbos

Testing went great. I will wait for Gene to post up his experience and feedback
70+whp and 100ftlbs of tq gained and that was during a VERY hot day as the dyno room was reading over 100 degrees.

Thanks for the update and congrats for offering a tune for this engine platform (M278). Is Gene a customer or one of your AMS team employees? Was the result done on 93oct? and did you guys read any AFR or boost? what I am trying to get is that I would like to know a small description of what the tune gets, ie: raises rev limiter, raises top speed, enables launch control, increases boost..blah.blah.blah.
Also, when are we going to know the pricing?. Thanks in advance from a Evo/STI owner(yours truly) that have been following your success stories for over 10 years.

I am the lucky customer who was able to get a tune from AMS Perforamnce. I first off want to thank Eric and the rest of the team there as I have never seen and worked with a more professional, state of the art and customer oriented performance shop...EVER!!
The gains from the tune are amazing. As Eric stated about 70WHP and 100+ lbs torque. The car reacts much nicer and is amazing to drive with better acceleration as well as smoother shifting.
After having it for 2 weeks i can honestly say that the MPG has not changed and possibly gone up a little after the tune, so that shouldnt be a concern for anyone.
The shop does amazing work and checks every aspect of the tune before they get the car back to you. I recommend anyone looking for a high performance car shop to reach out to AMS Performance and Eric.
