Thank you very much.
The wheels are Carlsson 1/10 BE in silver. There is only one Carlsson rep in the US & he's a vendor here. Lemme know if you want his info.
I agree. I looked at ADV.1, Brixton, & Vossen. The HREs & Carlssons provided the right amount of sport, class, & subtlety. Those other brands are great, but the concavity was just too aggressive for what I was going for. Like I said before; HRE was just slightly out of my (the misses) price point. Lol.

Any wheel I like are out of my Miss price range.
My wife;
"Don't we have 4 good wheels on the car now"?
Me;
"Yes dear"
She drops the mic and walks away.
Lol. That is hilarious. Luckily my wife likes aftermarket wheels. But she doesn't understand the price differences between wheel brands. So when I was looking at $8k+ for HRE wheels her response was, "You still have to get tires?!" Lol. So over $10k for wheels is something that she can't stomach at this point.
Yea. I actually did that with the Carlsson wheels. Lol. She got new YSL shoes, YSL bag, clothes, & she actually got a '15 C300 a week before I bought my CLS. So she was covered. Lol.
something that has always worked for me: and if you can afford it, give your wife the same amount you spend on wheel and tire set-ups
Now that's funny.
Made me think of this old joke:
How do most men define marriage?
An expensive way to get your laundry done free.
Your idea is a very expensive way to get a set of wheel.
Tell me about it. It was very expensive for me, but it worked out. I also had to promise her that I wouldn't do any other mods to the car until next year. So I got about 3 more months; unless Jim at Offshore Motorsports offers me a deal I can't refuse on Carlsson goodies. Then I'll just have to convince her it was a deal I couldn't pass up.
that's so odd to me when 'wives' tell their husbands NO.........I wouldn't do well with that lol, my mother passed away so I don't have a mother.......
and I don't have a momwife either
Thanks Maurice for all your business and support! We have a few parts for the CLS 550 and 63 available on clearance, so if anyone with a 550 or 63 has any interest in some parts we have that are already stateside, feel free to PM me and I will be happy to share any info regarding what we have available.
Jim

I knew Jim would chime in at some point. Best service I've ever had.
Wow! Maurice, thank you! In a business that is as saturated as this industry, to have such a compliment in a public forum is truly appreciated! Thank you for your business and support!
Also thank you to MBWorld for having this site where people can have an opportunity to share and network!

Oh don't mistake I'm the man. I can put my foot down, it's just a matter of how hard I stomp, before she'll stomp back. When we where young I spent money as I pleased,. And ended up spending way to much and we suffered for it. I learned my lesson, now I will not spend any money on a luxury items without her consent. She purchase this car for me as a retirement gift. I will do the same in four years for her. Love my car but it is an old man weekend toy and $5/10k for wheels is a want and not a need. But damn they sure look good on the CLS. I'm trying to get a school crossing guard job at my granddaughter school, it's the new paper route for old guys.. lol's

If I get the job there will be no speeding through my area.
I will talk to him about a group buy in case other members want them also. I'm sure he would be willing to give a decent price if he receives multiple orders. My car is back in the shop for a AMS alpha tune, I'll take up close pictures of the extended side skirts once I get the car back.
Sorry for the delay, I picked the car up and never got the tune. The shop informed me that they would not be able to get the main cord from AMS to re-tune the car in case I wanted to dial it down and etc. I may just wrap it another color next month and upgrade to the AMG CLS 63 s or a Audi RS7 this spring.
