Automatic Trunk feature
Not sure if its standard or not, but I have the automatic trunk feature on my 2012. If anyone has it, is it only supposed to automatically close when you hit the close button on the trunk, or should it also close bu hitting the trunk button on the FOB?

Mine only opens the trunk with the FOB, closes from the button on the trunk, but does not close when i push the trunk button on the FOB. is this how it should be?

The fob does not close the trunk, its a safety feature.

You can also open/close the trunk from the switch on the driver's door:

A safety feature...? You can close the trunk with the trunk switch on the drivers door but can't on the FOB...??

Doesn't make sense.

personally i dont take my key out of my pocket. its easy to open the trunk by using the trunk release handle and to close it its even easier by hitting the button
