Could someone tell whether it is 75mm or 90mm by the part number? Do you happen to have the part number?

Usually; MB didn't put part # in caliper or spindle either,,

you will see factory "Brembo" # in the caliper only, as a reference of caliper spec...!

anyway;-

*(75mm) AMG calipers:-

A) L#: "002 420 55 83"

B) R# :"002 420 56 83"

*(90mm) AMG calipers:-

A) L#: "003 420 81 83" or "004 423 35 98" or "204 423 41 98"

B) R# :"003 420 82 83" or "004 423 36 98" or "204 423 42 98"

all these Rear calipers uses (330x26) Rotors..

You can go with 2009-2016 "W212 E63" or 2011-2017 "W218 Cls63" rear calipers & Rotors,

they're "plug & play",,

or you can get a complete kit from RB..

-;ZAYED;-[/QUOTE]

So I can look for calipers in these (above) year and model ranges and not worry about spindle measurements or having to also replace the emergency brake boots; I would ideally like to get the red AMG calipers (?off ebay) and then new racing brake rotors and pads

Yes, this is for Rears, but for Fronts, you will have to tell, which calipers you will go with..!

Ok so this guy has AMG brakes off a 2012 MERCEDES BENZ C63 AMG P030 PACKAGE and he’s telling me that they’ll fit a E63 and CLS550 w218
These part numbers don’t match up with info above and I don’t see that y’all mentioned a C63 as possible option to steal calipers from

From listing:

FRONT CALIPERS PART# 20.9553.01 & 20.9553.02
REAR CALIPERS PART# 20.9568.01 & 20.9568.02

Need to know your choice first:-

do you want to go with (360mm) Fronts & (330mm) Rears or (390mm) Fronts & (360mm) Rears..?

cause C63 with even "P30/P31" comes with two options:-

*Front Rotor, (360mm) or (390mm).
*Front caliper hole distance, (110mm) or (130mm).

*Rear Rotor, (330mm) or (360mm).
*Rear caliper hole distance, (75mm) or (90mm).

i still prefer to measure your Front & Rear caliper or spindle hole distance, to be sure what calipers & Rotors options you can go with,

i don't want you to tossing $$$$ for something can't assure to you about proper fitment..!

Thanks for your value info. & cooperation RB,,

all your info. you provided is 100% correct with U.S versions, but there is some differ spec. with overseas models. like "Japan/Gulf/south Africa",

i forced a differ F&R spread in some locally M/Y,

we have a differ M/Y of MB's sets in my my friend's garage, i checked them all;-

A) 2005 "W211 E55", Front spindle is (110mm) & Rear is (75mm).

B) 2006 "S220 S55", Front spindle is (110mm) & Rear is (90mm).

C) 2008 "R230 Sl55", Front spindle is (110mm) & Rear is (90mm).

D) 2009 "W219 Cls500", Front spindle is (130mm) & Rear is (75mm).

E) 2010 "W463 G55", Front spindle is (110mm) & Rear is (90mm).

F) 2012 "W218 Cls550", Front spindle is (130mm) & Rear is (90mm).

G) 2013 "W218 Cls63", Front spindle is (110mm) & Rear is (75mm).

*these info. are completely differ spec. with U.S versions,

that's why i provided these info., cause i don't want anyone to be confused, and avoid tossing $$$$ for nothing..

Yeah i had the guy measure and it was 130mm measurements for the front.....I guess I'll pass as I don't want to worry about finding an adaptor and worry about bolt size on top of all that.

Ahh, great,

then, get 09 "W219 Cls63" Rotors, and try them with your exist shoes,

i think they will fit properly, if not, then get "W219" shoes,,

THAT'S ALL..

There is some two pieces rotor available for the 2009 CLS63. They are a lot lighter and are better on a lot of things. The reduced unsprung weight should really help a lot.

Is this weight for each or one pair? The source I found is they all weight about 9.5-10.0 kg each. Could you double check your source?

Also, according to RB, their 2 pieces rotor weight only 15.5 lbs which is 7.05 kg. That's a lot of savings. Attached is the RB's spec about their rotor. I also found others (Giro, Ceika) is about the same.

I know why you come up with something different. The calipers djrabbi refer to is for the rear and your info from Brembo is for the front.

Hey Harry,

Your ques. about compare between 1-piece & 2-piece Rotor,

how i come up with something different, if there's NO 2-piece Rotor on any appl. of "C63/Cls63/E63/S63/Sl63"..?!!?,

2-piece Rotor, only comes as optional with "Sl65/SLS/GT AMG/SLR",,

(djrabbi) is talking about 09 "W219 Cls63" (330x26) Rear Rotor instead of his 02 "W218 Cls550" Rear Rotor (320x24)..?!?,,

* "W218 Cls550" Rotor: (8.2kg)

* "W219 Cls63" Rotor: (9.7kg)

if you have better answer, then pls., lighten me UP..!

Yes, you are right if you compare to the original 320mm rotor for the CLS550. However, he has to change to the 330mm CLS63 anyway after he change the calipers to the '09 CLS63. So I compare the weight of the 1 peices of CLS63 for the rear and the two pieces for the CLS63. The weight is 9.7 kg each with the weight of 7.05 kg each from RB. Again, GIRO and Ceika have very similar weight of their rotor for that car. It will come out a different of 5.3 kg (11.66 lbs) on both side for the rear. Is this right?

Yeah, but less weight with aftermarket Rear 2-piece is good thing, but it's another topic with much $$$$..!,,

most of Race fans, who thinks about that..

Yeah I know I have to change rotors but will just stick with OEM as I feel like rear brakes are just for show
