Has anyone had the Renntech tune? Thoughts?
Hello all,
I've been interested in getting my ECU tuned by Renntech, specifically this one:
I've chosen Renntech due to their excellent track record, as well as the fact that my local dealership themselves have a relationship with Renntech, and they are the ones who OK everything once the ECU has been tuned.
My question is...to anyone who has had this tune done, how long have you had it, and have you had any problems with reliability / whatsoever?
I'm good friends with the head of the service department, and he mentioned he has an E63 with a similar tune...but when he saw the figure of 705 torque, he said it might be a bit much for the M278 engine.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

I won't disparage Renntech..... nor do I have their tune. I do have OETuning and I'm very happy with the results. The new dyno is very similar to RT's, but at a fraction of the price.
I've had no issues with reliability whatsoever, and the OETune puts out ~700 of torque. I'm glad I did it.
