2012 CLS550 4Matic Rims upgrade and Offset issue.
Hi,
I am changin my stock wheels on the 2012 CLS550 4Matic.
I plan to buy 20x9 +38OT and 20x10 +42OT. The seller claim they would fit perfectly and 255-35-20F and 285-30-20R would be great fitment as well.
I am really not good with all those stuff. Can you folks confirm his statement. Will a +38 front offset look good?
Thank you guys.

Here's what I can tell you...I have the following (I also have a CLS 4matic) and they fit with no problems. That being said, I think I'd go with less positive offset so the wheels don't tuck quite so much (see graphic below). The higher the + offset (moves the face closer to the street) the more the wheels tuck. But it's more of a personal preference.
Front:
20x9 25mm Offset - 245/35
Rear:
20x10 35mm Offset - 285/30
You are looking at 13mm more offset in the front and 7mm more in the rear, so I don't think you'll have any fitment issues.
Hope that helps.
