CLS Sound System Upgrade-Possible? etc

So my friend has a 2012 CLS 350d with a Harman Kardon Sound System, it sounds amazing. I was wondering if upgrading to Bang and Olufsen is actually possible or is that something that you can only get while you are buying it from the Factory?

Now another thing is, is Diesel worth working on, changing Rims, exhuast(diesel), and is it possible to get those brand new LED Headlights on 2015/16/17 models instead of those old ones?

If anyone has any answers please help

Thank you

Sound System - I'm sure it's possible, but I don't know if it's worth the effort. I know you can find B&O parts on eBay for the CLS/others. If I was going to do an overhaul of the stock sound, I'd just get better aftermarket parts and rework the whole thing.

This doesn't speak to your question specifically, but just some more input on the B&O for you.

As for wheels, exhaust, etc....that's really up to the owner. Anything in the visual upgrade realm is personal taste. If it were me, then yes, I'd definitely upgrade the wheels. Not sure about the exhaust only because I'm not familiar with car diesel engines.

Headlights - Read this post... https://mbworld.org/forums/cls-coupe...14-cls550.html

I'm sure it's possible, but you're going to be much better off using that money on something aftermarket. Factory sound systems are the most overpriced luxury option, especially on these higher end cars. They're usually an extra SEVERAL grand, and the equivalent amount of dollars in aftermarket components + professional install is going to sound leaps and bounds better. Keep the HK system, save the money, or spend it on quality aftermarket components with a professional install. I almost always upgrade the sound system when I get a new car, and even the low end aftermarket name brands sound much better than the big ticket factory sound system upgrades. It still boggles my mind that these expensive factory options sound far inferior to even the most basic aftermarket sound system. When will they catch up?
