How many gallons remain in the tank when this dash light goes on?

 

Varies with tank size, but typically 3 gal.

 

Check your manual. 9 or 14 liters.

Isn't it great that when you hit 0Km reserve, you still have about 100Km left
Smart engineering.
What I do is I drive on the last couple of liters of fuel, add fuel additives to clean up carbon deposits, drive some more and then fill up. Fuel additives along with premium fuel also change engine mapping so you might get a better mileage when engine runs more efficiently.
