OEM set of mats THAT FIT ?

I can't seem to find front "rubber" mats that fit up to my CLS. I've bought two sets which claim to fit but did not. The buttons on the floor do not match up to those in the mats. Consequently, the driver's mat slips around and I am constantly aligning it

Any advice appreciated
thanks

The set of rubber mats I bought are part number BQ6680712. They are the beige set of four. The buttons fit my 2012 CLS. There is of course a black set with different prefix.

What were the part numbers you got?

They did not. In fact I had already bought the same set (stupid me!) 3 months ago

At least they took them back and even paid the freight (they had advertised that they fit and I even provided my VIN)

so, where did you buy yours?

I don't understand what you've sent me

Is this showing the correct mat part number?
or are you saying they don't have mats that fit my car?

crazy but a simple google search yields 3 or 4 sellers showing this number but zero photos or description--just a price.

Where purchased: eBay

I got mine from a Mercedes dealership on eBay. I think I searched "OEM Mercedes floor mats beige C218" or some such. You could search that with the part number and "black" or "beige" or ask your local dealer. The eBay dealer terms made it plain that return shipping was my responsibility, si I obviously was lucky. If you buy local there might be no risk in a return if I've steered you wrong.

At at any rate, they worked on mine. I am with you, I can't stand floor mats that aren't anchored, which is why I ditched the Weathertech mats that came with mine.

I don't understand the plethora of part numbers. I think I searched something like the number konigstiger accessed, but found other part numbers and was confused.

I found the part numbers I reported on eBay searches and got lucky I guess. Whatever; the mats appear to be OEM and fit properly, including the buttons. Not sure why that part number doesn't come up in the Mercedes system. I was very happy with them last winter in Minnesota.

the online shop I ordered from is guaranteeing the fit. The last set I ordered --same way and since they didn't fit--I "shamed" them into sending a call tag --so I was only "out" the trip to UPS to return them.
It is weird how hard it has been to get the correct mats (though I won't know I have until I get these). Been driving mostly Audi's the last 20 plus years and it was never a problem landing a proper set.
