Leaking Suspension Airbag
I've got a 2012 CLS550 and when I bought it I found that the rear passenger side suspension airbag was leaking and over around 5hrs, it would drop all the way down. This was back in April.
I bought the car from Carmax and they replaced the airbag and it was all working fine again.
Fast forward 5 months and I just found out it's doing it again. It only does it when the car is locked and as my car spends 99% of it's life unlocked parked in my garage, I don't really know when it started doing it. (It's been on the drive while I spent the weekend detailing my wife's car).
Carmax offer a 6 month/6k mile warranty on their parts but I've probably gone over the mileage so it's looking like it's on me. They're going to take a look at it next Wednesday and let me know.
I've been out and measured it today and when it's fully inflated the top of the wheel arch is 27.5" and after 2hrs it had dropped to 26.5". Is that quite fast?
Is it this common for the airbags to fail? They said they've replaced them with OEM parts.
Is there anything else that could be causing the suspension to drop like that?

Confirm they installed new OEM air spring, current part # 2123204025 - see attachment. They need to pull fault codes using MB STAR (diagnostics). No codes, next step check for leaks.

Thanks! I've just checked the invoice and they've put an OEM part on.
I've just found out that they replaced the driver side so it's not the part they replaced that's failed, my memory isn't what it used to be!
