Dreaded AC Smell :(

Hello Guys,
I have the famous Mercedes AC smell... It started as faint cow poop smell only when I turn on the AC for the first 20-30 seconds... However now it has become a constant smell when the AC is on. I searched and searched, most people says the smell is coming from the AC Evaporator, and I saw one guy on Youtube spraying Koolit inside the Cabin Filter housing to rid off the smell. Is this a safe approach to clean the evaporator? Second, I never seen any water from under the car when the AC is on, so I am assuming the AC drain is plugged. Is there a way to find the drain plug? How do I unplug it?

I have the bad smell coming from mine and have heard that the Kool-It approach is the way to go. I've just ordered some so will let you know how it goes when I do it this weekend.

Sounds good! I am also getting mine Kool-It from Amazon today along with Activated Carbon Cabin Filter. So I will share my result back as well. Good luck to both of us!
