Hello Guys,
I have the famous Mercedes AC smell... It started as faint cow poop smell only when I turn on the AC for the first 20-30 seconds... However now it has become a constant smell when the AC is on. I searched and searched, most people says the smell is coming from the AC Evaporator, and I saw one guy on Youtube spraying Koolit inside the Cabin Filter housing to rid off the smell. Is this a safe approach to clean the evaporator? Second, I never seen any water from under the car when the AC is on, so I am assuming the AC drain is plugged. Is there a way to find the drain plug? How do I unplug it?

I have the bad smell coming from mine and have heard that the Kool-It approach is the way to go. I've just ordered some so will let you know how it goes when I do it this weekend.

Sounds good! I am also getting mine Kool-It from Amazon today along with Activated Carbon Cabin Filter. So I will share my result back as well. Good luck to both of us!

the best way to clean the air.. is remove the cabin filter and place the spray into the dash board and spray.

I had the smell also on startup for about 20-30 seconds. I changed my cabin air filter and it went away.

use Klima Cleaner. I did on few cars and works wonders.
