Cls 2013 old bumper new tail light?

Hi I have a 2nd generation CLS (2013 250 CDI). Need to replace the tail lights. Would like to use 2015 updated ones as I prefer the tinted look but want to keep my old bumper. I know there are a few threads on this but all seem to have the new bumper. Main question is will it fit (no gaps) and are connections the same? I have access to xentry so am assuming can update if required. THANKS

If anyone is wondering the new tail lights fit fine and no coding required.

CLS 350 Shooting Brake
What part did you install?

Hi. I have a 2013 CLS 350 Shooting Brake. I really want the darker look of the facelift tail lights. Did you just take a gamble or did you get confirmation it would work?

Please can you tell me what part numbers you ordered and also where you got them from? It might also help me if you know what part code the factory fitted ones were?

Just get them tinted wrapped. Done, easy.

I bought them from a scrap yard. But they do fit, they are the exact same. Plug and play no coding required. I got them from a scrap yard. The only difference is the red plastic is darker. Mine were leaking so it made sense to upgrade. I think you could save your self alot of money by just getting them tinted.
