Low battery key
Everytime I start my car I get a low battery key error. The car fires up with the Start button, and the message is easily cleared. I've put new batteries in both fobs, I even bumped one up to a 2032 battery. I've ordered a replacement push to start button, but I'm not sure what, if any, electronics are in it. Any other ideas other than take it to the dealer.

How old are your auto batteries? I had weird issues when mine started going south. Issues like the parking assist wouldn't work, and I'd getting red warning lights telling me so. One time, I couldn't get the gear to go out of park. Replaced the batteries (main, and supplemental), and all issues went away.

Thanks, I didn't know that. And FYI, I had a bad 2032 battery, I popped in fresh 2025 in both fobs, and no message for over a month. Simplest solution is usually the right one.

2014 CLS550, 2005 Honda VTX 1300, 2015 Toyota Landcruiser
Two quick things I have figured out with these keys. First, I had wired in a dashcam and for whatever reason, it caused the car to randomly display "Key not found" message. When I unhooked it, it immediately went back to normal. In the meantime, I ran across a post about using genuine "Japanese" Maxell batteries in the holographic package. Apparently, the Duracell and Energizer batteries from the drug stores aren't up to par with the Maxell. Just a quick FYI
