Okay fellow Benzies. Driving home last night (darkness). I just wanted to dim the instrument panel. Simple enough, right? NOT. There was a knob on my C-class.
Can someone help me out here?

Oh while I'm at it, what about the auto shut down? Is there a way to disable that?
Thanks everyone.

Short answer - no you can't change ECO mode permanently without outside help. (tune, programming, etc) I think I've seen the programming model sell for $65.

The lights can be adjusted in the DIC settings. Along with brightness you can adjust the color of your accent lights.

This is all info from driving my 2014 CLS

lol. Same thing happened to me on my 2 hr drive home from the dealer. Had to read the manual when I got home. I see the question was answered. Really should have a knob, like your C-class.

Really nice ride!
