W212 into C218 seats

Hello everyone 👋,

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to join. First let me say, this is my first time posting here and my first time owning a Mercedes Benz 🎉AND I'm loving it so far but it's costing me an arm and a leg to keep her as she should. I got my self into a really clean well kept 2012 CLS550 (C218). I attached some pictures to introduce my car and to reference to my question.

My question is , I found w212 2015 AMG seats full with everything. Here is the link for listing https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F25 4102893222 can I replace the seats from 2012 CLS with those?

I really appreciate your time in advance

I think it only means no one has tried this. I would think seats would fit, but you would have wiring issues. Good Luck and be patient grasshopper!

What I meant to say is that no one was interested enough to have done it or interested enough to think about doing that 😉. I don't know, but I think most of the E class, CLS class and the CLS63 are the same parts numbers for interior stuff. So theoretically it should work. The only thing that I don't think would work is back seat from E class.

Chears and thanks for replying

I think you are correct, but, it's a big expense to try it without knowing it will work. The electronics are most likely the problem. I would love to have these seats in my 2013 CLS550!

! I'm thinking about installing a C63 console with a shifter I'm my CLS! The shifter on the tree is lame! Does anyone know if this will work? (I know the shifter won't work like a C63 AMG).

lol you are talking about switching a whole car and you think my electronic for the seat wont work ? Just kidding 😁 but your project seems a bit to complicated and will involve a lot more than bolts and sockets.
