Low Coolant Warning

Periodically after my car has been sitting for a few days I get the low coolant warning on the dash upon startup. Upon checking, the reservoir is only a couple of ounces low so I’ve added a splash of distilled water on a couple of occasions. This holds me for a number of weeks so presumably whatever leak is causing this is very minor. I see no evidence of fluid leaking or smoke in the exhaust and have no other obvious symptoms. I’m going to check the pressure cap but can anyone provide some other things to check?

Thanks Konigstiger. I had searched for “low coolant” and not found anything related to my issue.
