MBRACE: No Remote Start unless you have a 2019
Ok I was getting pinged since I purchased the car to get MBRACE. I asked them what was their standard features and REMOTE Start was one. I missed remote start being on my remote since I had it on every vehicle EXCEPT the two Mercedes I own. Which I thought was kind of odd for such a so called high end car. Well I sign up for 21 months. $207. I download the app and no remote start. I called them today and I am told I have to have a 2019 or newer for remote start to work on MBRACE. I just want to let you guys know if you are considering. I dont see any other benefit of having the service to be honest. It's basically OnStar lite!! I can purchase GM's lowest model and get remote start on a car built back in 2007.

Sad to hear! i was wondering same thing, because it's really convenient! And there's not that much info online about remote start... And their website says that it is available

It is very sad. Especially since other car makers have had remote start for quite some time. I will investigate aftermarket. I just wanted to let everyone know what I found.

Yes, I've seen that one too, just on all the other cars i had the remote start was around $100 for the kit 
MB definitely knows how to make it complicated... Just like on my other MB - to have a decent upgrade on the audio/command unit you're looking at about 1k.
