Wireless phone charging

The layout in the previous car i had allowed me to use a phone holder that would double as a charger as well. Now in the 2015 CLS400 the layout is obviously different and the holder that i have covers almost the entire radio / menu interface, which i'm not very happy about. But still the convenience of wireless charging is hard to underestimate, especially if you spend more than 10 mins a day in your vehicle.

Any way around, has anyone implemented wireless charging pad / holder successfully in the car without messing around with the panels and wiring? I know the MB offers the wireless charging dock for the newer vehicles, not in the older ones. And i'd like to make it look good to, avoiding hanging wires and what not. There are tons of chargers for sale but none are ergonomic-friendly and cover most of the central panel... Who found out a solution to this and how did you do it?

Thought about that, but, as expected, that takes away a cupholder, and I'm not comfortable with that, considering on long trips my car is always full

My opinion...that cupholder charger doesn't help much if say you have to use the phone in some way. Like for GPS or whatever important stuff that you might be doing. Cuz you have to look down constantly.

If need just for charging, i plug in the charger in the rear mid console and run the wire between the seat and middle console and place phone in the cupholder...or everything in the storage compartment.
