Jacked car up to swap wheels, now front suspension won't deflate. Help!

As the title stated, I lifted the car on jacks to swap out my wheels, now my front end is fully erected (lifted up) and won't deflate. I've tried starting it and letting it run but all I hear is the compressor running inflating the suspension, I'm worried that it'll blow my front strut as another member has had this happen to him. Any way to get the system to drop or self level?

I'm following this. Did you leave the hood open? Or door open?

No, unfortunately not. After reading the manual I guess you're suppose to leave the drivers door open while jacking but I've done this before in the past with no problems. Is there a way to reset the airmatic system?

It says in the manual to leave the driver door open when jacking up the car? I just went through that part in the manual and it does state to remove the key or the start/stop button. Do you guys know why it is necessary to remove?
I recently got my rear tires replaced and when they lowered the car, the bags were tremendously deflated. The entire tire profile and some of the wheels were tucked in. Worried me a bit, but when I started the car, it lifted itself right back up within 2 seconds. The driver door was closed, the key was inside, and the start/stop button was not removed either.

I haven't had any issues so far, but is that something really necessary?

If I have one corner of my car on a jack stand for a day or two then remove it and put the car down, that end of the car is slammed low but as soon as I start all returns to normal.
