I haven't taken any pics afterward, but these are from the day I finished the painting part. I low-key think that maybe I should've gone a bit dark bronze/ish paint haha. I didn't want to do Red because Red is widely used on numerous cars. So, I picked yellow haha. I bought the vinyl decals from eBay for approx $12. They sent one card with a few sizes and logos as well.

I'm not looking for any different finish/shiny look on them. I was thinking about it since it's easier to keep the car clean with the coating and everything comes off quickly, even with just a pressure washer before using the soap. Maybe if I apply the coating to the wheels, the inner wheel area won't have much dust stuck to it? I'm not using any brushes on the wheels to clean...just as much as I can reach in, not too much. So hopefully with the coating, the dust and debris will come off with just the pressure washer?
I'm looking for an easy cleaning effect.

My only gripe was road noise from the back. Today I pulled the spare and lined the well with 66 Mat and Noico Red. HUGE difference. I will likely start pulling door panels and doing the same there.
Overall an amazing car.

Did it myself and I am so satisfied with the results.

Beautiful cars guys! Both palladium silver?

Tire size for my rims

Just bought some oem s63 coupe 5 spoke wheels 20 inch and now iam running into a little dilemma about the tire choice. They suggest 255/30/20 on front and 285/25/20 on the back but I would like a little more meat on my tires. I read that 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 will fit no problem but what I really wanna run is 255/35/20 and 295/30/20. Will this be ok will there be any rubbing and how is this new height going to affect my suspension and overall mechanics anyway?
these are the new wheels.
Thank you guys😁

That doesn't tell the width, which what was I looking for. But, seems like they're 20x8.5 and 20x9.5. I believe you would be fine running 295/30/20. I was looking around and read a few guys running 295/30/20 on 20x9.5 wheels, though it was a different car. It might give you a little "cupping" look on your tires around the wheel.
I'm running 295/30/20 on 20x10.5. I will go with 305/25/20 for the next set.

What about the front what are you running and is there any rubbing or problems putting 255/35/20 is that too big should I stick to 245/35/20

I'm running 20x9 20x10.5 with 255/35/20 and 295/30/20

There is not going to be any rubbing if you don't lower your car too much. I have mine lowered at ~1.5 inches. It rubs very slightly at the fender when making turns on driveways, but it doesn't rub like on every driveway. Just sometimes. If I lift the car up half an inch, there won't be any rubbing at all.

My front wheels have a little gap and the tire doesn't fully cup the rim, so I can definitely run 265, easily. Maybe even 275? I don't know.

I think you can run the set-up on your wheels as you stated, but the rear tires MIGHT, not saying it will, they might look/feel bulky if the rear wheel is 9.5 inches wide. I don't think you will have any problems with running 255/35/20 in the front. I believe those could possibly be the stock numbers on 19-inch wheels. If the rear wheels are 20x9.5 and you want to run 295/30/20, you need to check with a local shop who will better answer that, or whichever shop will install those tires for you. It also depends which brand you choose as some are narrower from the edges while some are more round-ish.

I don’t mind running 285 in the back if they don’t fit as long and I have the front at 255/35/20 I don’t mind I don’t wanna go thinner that what I previously had that why. My car it’s not lowered so there shouldn’t be any rubbing than glad to hear that. I’m ask the shop if they can fit 295 in my wheel if not then i will go with 285/30 not a big deal. Here is a finished product of the refurbished and polished wheels

Yeah, it might be hard to find people running wider tires on a stock wheels, so it's best to check with the shop as well who offer aftermarket wheels and tire installation. They have better knowledge and experience with these kind of set-ups. Unless you find someone else running the same set-up. You shouldn't have a rubbing issue at the stock height for that set-up.

Its been a while since I posted in this thread. A lot has been changed in the car since then. The new wheels are in could not be more happy with them. The ceramic coat is holding great on the car and on the wheels, makes washing the car and brake dust a lot easier. New mods are coming in. The whole car is going to be straight piped from the cat down. along with an x-pipe and quad-tips I will post a video of it as soon as its done. Spacers are ordered as well to make the wheels sit flush with the fender. I ordered 10mm for the back and 15 for the front. Next thinking of ordering a lowering module but I have to see how much room there is all around after the spacers are put in place. Also thinking of tuning it I was reading about the stage 1 and stage 2 tunes don't know the exact difference between the two of them so if someone could shed some light into that, it would be awesome. I was looking at the options out there OE seems to be the cheapest, then we have weistech, then renntech. I think I'm go with OE given its the cheapest and people have had no problems with it.

The current set of wheels and tires that I'm running on are 2015 s63 amg coupe 20 inch wheels picked them up for a steel only 1k.
The set of tires are 285/30/20 for the back Federal ST-1 evoluzion I think I'm go with 295/25/20 next, and the front 255/35/20 same model which are great tires by the way, grip good look good and ride smooth too, for the price you can't beat it. They do rub just a tiny bit on the rubber cover of the air strut but it does not affect anything at all while driving but that issue will be eliminated ounce the spacers are in. For my. next front set I think I'm go with 255/30/20 i just hope I don't feel the bumps a lot.
Also I recently replaced the engine mounts and transmission mount, along with the two front air shocks with new airnott units, did all the work myself, the car feels brand new when driving smooth as butter.
Let me know what you guys think.
