Pretty self explanatory, and not sure if anyone has done this but I’m getting tired of the look and I’d like to try and modify the front end if possible I’d like to buy newer style 550 headlights and front bumper I’m wondering if it’s plug and play or there are some major modifications that need to be done. Thanks

wow this forum is not very active.
I'm sure you could, but it will be costly.
and I personally prefer the 2012 to 2014 look. It just looks super aggressive.
The 2015 and up seems watered down and doesn' t look like a distinct CLS.

It is pretty active usually I just think a lot of people think like you and really enjoy their 2012-2014 and I admit when I bought it a few years ago the headlights def looked attractive but one of my young *** employees just bought an 18 e300 and I’m actually digging the led headlights and the interior 😍😍😍 only thing is is don’t want to buy another car because I have to get my wife a new Escalade first before I buy another car so I was thinking of updating headlights and put amg bumpers and hood and one of those android dash and do some interior lighting as well to update it. I have been looking and I haven't seen anyone do it with a cls. Figured I’d ask I will update if I find information.

yeah I didn't buy a CLS to have a android screen or seat warmers.
I bought it for the sheet metal body style and the cost per horse power ratio.

I didn’t either lol I was trading my c300 for a 14 c63 for hp and then I saw the cls on the showroom floor and the body for sure was attractive and then the interior did it for me, obviously the 550 engine is powerful but why not have horsepower and a luxurious interior I mean it is a Mercedes after all and luxury is the first thing you think when you think of Mercedes, the power and speed is the icing on the cake, at least for me and going from c300 to c63 was identical and the cls was just a better upgrade and for 8k less than the c63 I was looking at, makes it easy. Now that I’ve had it for a few years I want better ambient lighting lighting at night when I’m driving, a nicer more visible screen but I want to put amg bumpers and hood on and the lights. I will update if I find solution Originally Posted by W218CLS

yeah I've always liked the original 2012 to 2014 front bumper and led DRL's. Oh man they were so nice. It really started a lot of the design trends you see in new cars today.

There is no end to a good thing if you have $$. Take to a reputable body installer.

If you want to look 100% facelifted, I want to point out that in 2015+ there are the fake air vents on the rear near the parking sensors which I guess you could get a new rear bumper for. The side skirt area is also different but I don't think that's possible to change.Originally Posted by Dblok1113
